Sustainable Packaging Industries

Short Bio/Artist Statement:*
Wabi-sabi guides our work—the art and beauty of imperfection. We create packaging from recycled paper and cardboard, screen printed by hand using water-based inks.
Each piece carries a handcrafted quality, with natural variations in tone, texture, and surface that reflect the materials themselves. The irregularities found in our printing is intentional—an extension of the process—adding to the character and imperfect beauty.
Our work lives at the intersection of sustainability, function and tactile design.

Describe your work:*
We design and produce sustainable packaging using uncoated chipboard and molded pulp—materials often associated with utility, reimagined through a design-forward lens.
Our work includes folding tab boxes, die cut on a 1951 Heidelberg Windmill Press, and molded pulp forms similar to egg cartons. We have developed a custom process to screen print directly onto molded pulp clamshells. Because these forms are three-dimensional, we create resin jigs and raised screen setups to support each piece during printing.
The result is a balance of structure and imperfection—industrial materials transformed through a hands-on, experimental process. While our foundation is in manufacturing, the printing itself is slow and handcrafted. We craft packaging that reflects the same care, creativity, and beauty as the products inside.
