Each custom jewelry box starts with our small GK-001 clamshell, paired with a black die-cut insert that securely holds earrings, necklaces, or cufflinks in place. To finish the design, Waystone adds a distinctive closure: a ribbon paired with an engraved snap, pressed onto the box using a tabletop press. The result is a thoughtful, handcrafted detail that makes every unboxing feel personal and memorable.

Waystone's origin is just as heartfelt as the pieces they create. It began when founder Leslie married her husband Sean at Chief Hosa Lodge. She picked up a few stones that caught her eye. The small, speckled stones were ordinary rocks, rough and in irregular shapes. But she knew her mom, Beverly, a geologist with her own jewelry studio, could turn them into something special. Beverly polished the stones and corded them onto necklaces, encapsulating a special moment into a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry. The bridesmaids adored them, and the family knew they were onto something special. That's how four bridesmaids' necklaces birthed an idea for a company.
